Monitoring of the beaver in Klosterheden Plantation
Since the reintroduction of Beaver to Denmark in 1999 in Klosterheden Plantation the small population has been monitored annually and has also been part of research assignments from university students. The monitoring results are made in Danish and can be found on the Danish part of the web page. Included here is a study made in 2001 on the behaviour of beavers in Klosterheden with information on time budgets, feeding patterns, home range and other key behavioural aspects.
